ML178 Lacey Layering

It might seem that the words summer and sweater are mutually exclusive but in the right yarn and the right style, there are plenty of options for knitting a garment for the summer season.

To begin: this maddy laine pattern, Lacey Layering, is knit in a light fingering weight cotton. The front sections are shaped so that the front remains open and the peekaboo effect continues with the eyelet pattern worked on one side of the front and on one sleeve.

The sleeves are three-quarter length and the draped neck will add a bit of style over a pretty colored tank.
