9218 Sweater

We were terribly excited to find a copy of this pattern to post, because a) it's discontinued (though the yarn is definitely still around), and b) it features one of our favorite stitch patterns of all time. We made a baby blanket featuring it once. It's much easier than it looks, and gives a gorgeous effect. The whizzes at Sirdar have kindly kept the upper front and back yokes simple, so that shaping the curved armholes one stitch at a time is extra-easy. Sleeves have a good cap for a more refined fit, and yes, the neck garter edging detail is accounted for in the pattern. This is very much something out of the common way for a special adult.
