To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

4458 Sweater

There are certain benchmarks in different disciplines. If you are a mountain climber, Kilimanjaro or K2 might be on your bucket list. Fabergé eggs are treasured amongst jewellers. Similarly, cable knitters must gaze on this amazing design with the same kind of reverence and recognition of its glories. Of course it's complicated. Of course it demands attention. But to those who make the investment, you will be richly rewarded every time you wear it, or even think of it. The back is patterned the same as the front, and it is a drop shoulder with flat sleeve tops. Note that the recommended ease is very generous. Original yarn is discontinued, but was approx. 160m/175y per 50g ball; do try the other recommendations listed below, making sure to get gauge.

Thank you to Anne of Australia who wrote to ask if it could be found in the Hayfield vaults.
