Hanami YS587 Ladies' Jacket

The construction of this piece is very unusual (to match you and your chosen Kibou colourway). You make a lower back, then the fronts and upper back together, then assemble them. All you have to do is be able to count rows. Oh, and work that lovely Fern Lace where you work a lace row, purl, then work the same lace row again offset by one stitch, then purl. You will memorize the pattern easily, and it looks magnificent. Sleeves are short and unshaped, but just look at the effect!

You can see each of the downloadable designs comprising the Noro Hanami Book collection here.

Wikipedia: 'Hanami (lit. "flower viewing") is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers.' The complete Hanami book, comprising 13 new designs for Spring 2014 (including this one), is available in print only at your LYS/Noro stockist for only $14.95.
