To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

291 Paradoxical Cardigan

Recently in Entertainment Weekly we came across the expression 'nerdnip' (catnip for nerds), and fell in love. This cardigan is knitting nerdnip. It has so much to offer for fans of colour, geometrics, intarsia, and fair isle (even duplicate stitch if that blows your skirt up and you so choose) that you'll find the making of it a pleasure even as you're following medium-level charts. Armholes are slightly indented, sleeves are set in with a shallow cap, and the back neck is straight. Boston is no longer available, but Bazic Wool should substitute well-- just make sure to get gauge.
