To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

NM1-29 Crochet Slippers

Our crochet expert: "This easily crocheted slipper is created by working Kureyon yarn with a much smaller hook than expected. The sole is built around the starting chain in single crochet, increasing at toe and heel. The top (instep) is crocheted separately in rows using single crochet. It is joined to the sole with single crochet. A few finishing rounds in slip stitch and single crochet and you're done."

To the non-crocheter, this is a magnificent design that looks like the most elegant huarache in the world-- something that belongs in a museum, so ancient that it's impeccably modern. And it's actually shaped like a human foot! American crochet terminology.
