To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Michelle Porter

for Mirasol   2013

M5004 Belted Wrap
WEB EXCLUSIVE

This is a beautiful piece, a wonderful showcase for a 4-ply hand-dye, and it's easy to knit, too. Essentially it's a rectangle with a slit for the front opening. The 'grand eyelet pattern' is a multiple of four stitches over three rows, in which the salient actions are making four stitches out of one and purling four together. Normally this might be a bit of a swot, but since Porter has you work on US8/5mm needles, it should be very comfortable. The garter belt, worked lengthwise, can be threaded through any level of eyelets where you feel the waist should be. A lovely cover-up for warm weather, or a lightweight, open cardi for home or office.
