for A la maille suivante 2012
Tricotinette is a sock pattern created to celebrate 1st anniversary of local yarn store Tricotine et cie, from Deux-Montagnes in 2012. Yarn used is a special color from indie dyer Biscotte & cie and it really shows store’s energy! The combination of yarn and pattern with lacing up effect gives it a really feminine look. You can also add a ribbon into eyelets for a more girly style.
I was nursing when I created this pattern. My nights were short and most of my ideas come during late evening or night time. This sock idea came up to me at 3am and at 8am I was working it already, since I didn't want to forget my idea.
I made those warm and confy sock for my grand-ma and she wears them at least once a week during winter time.
You can knit it with any self stripping yarn and I'm sure it will be wonderful.
***Pattern is french (page 1-3)and english(page 4-6)
