for Classic Elite Yarns 2013
"This project," says Barry, "is designed to be worn with a generous amount of ease for an oversized fit. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches; all pieces are worked back and forth in rows. The body and sleeves are worked from side to side. The left back and sleeve piece begins with a provisional cast on at center back (shown by the dotted line on the schematic) and is worked to the end of the sleeve. The provisional cast on is removed, and the right back and sleeve piece is worked from center back to the end of the sleeve. Each front is worked separately from center front out to the end of the sleeve." All this makes for a very dramatic and sweeping garment.
