1311-7 Lace Silhouette

Meg Myers says, "A lace panel travels up from the brim, flowing into the crown decreases, on both the fitted and slouchy hats."

We particularly like the variation on the classic feather and fan stitch and the way single knit stitches flow up from the brim through both the lace panel and the stocking stitch panel. Such nice attention to detail.

One special direction that's rarely seen, ssssk, described in the pattern, may provide a bit of a challenge but other than that, it's an easy pattern. Ava, the recommended yarn, is a soft merino/viscose blend plus bit of metallized polyester for a touch of sparkle.
