Inca Marl Ruffled Coat
WORLD EXCLUSIVE

This spectacular piece is here by popular demand. Classic Elite placed it especially because so many women saw it as invaluable-- as indeed it is. A madly flattering coat shape for any body type, with a kind of 'waist' and side and back neck shaping, it's just a sensual revelation. With its cascades and folds and liquidity, it ennobles anything worn under; you wouldn't want to wear much over it. Sleeve caps and armholes are severely and masterfully cut. Only the ruffles have any short rowing, and by the end of all the smooth st st sailing you'll be ready for a bit of interest. Originally published in the 'Tweed 3' book, now out of print, this reprint is exclusive to Patternfish.

A variation on this kind of style in a sockweight yarn, worked at a sport (6 sts to 1"/2.5cm) tension, is available here.

Wow...this was my first purchase online and it went so well. Thank you! I bought a sweater coat here in Toronto very similar to this...don't ask the price. Can't wait to knit my own in another favorite color. Gives such a feminine silhouette!
