With its use of turquoise and delicate lace patterning, this shawlette is reminiscent of the elaborate necklaces typical of Native American jewelry.
Just like its source of inspiration, it uses an image commonly found in Native American jewelry, the squash blossom.
This piece is worked from the top down. Increases embedded within each RS row cause the piece to grow and flare quickly. The result is a shawlette with a squared bottom border and generous coverage at the shoulders.
