“Fun to knit,” compliments fly about this pattern from test knitters and MKAL participants, many of whom chose to knit more than one! When you wear this unique cowl with beaded tendrils mouths will drop while lips question, “How do you knit such a complex cowl?” The secret is all yours that this cowl is just an advanced beginner level pattern. Tech edited by Katherine Vaughan, this pattern includes written directions, a chart, a button making diagram, and pictures. Two YouTube videos are also available by Eco Chic Knits on making beaded tendrils and making the beaded button with left over yarn.
Tendrils are the must have technique this fall season. So knit one for yourself and then surprise friends and family with cowls of their very own. The bead/ yarn combinations are endless. Try monochromatic, like the picture, variegated, or contrasting to express your style.
The Northern City Girl Cowl and an e-book with both City Girl and Northern City Girl Cowls are also available.
