Stella Cadente

'Stella Cadente' means 'shooting star' in Italian. "This romantic, scarf-edged, layered wrap skirt knitted in linen sport weight yarn has a crisp hand with great drape," further explains Abel. "The pieces are easy to knit on a #7 or #8 needle and assembled on the bias at the waist. Originally designed with Louet's Euroflax in mind... any dk/sport weight linen yarn will work wonderfully." Dramatically arranged in six big petals, three with eyelets and three plain stockinette, the skirt is easy to adjust, personalize, and put together-- and smooth sailing to knit. Take the pieces with you as travel knitting instead of socks...
