JJ1051 Milse (6m - age 10)
Milse (pron. mil-SHAY) is Gaelic for “sweet things” and that is exactly what this little dress and your darling girl are.
Milse is worked seamlessly in the round, from the top down, starting with a provisional cast (photo tutorial included in the pattern). You make the choice to have long or short sleeves, and you make the choice to have a “bubble” skirt as pictured or a regular skirt.
Milse is a great basic patten to have in your library. In 7 sizes from 6 months to 10 years, you will knit it again and again. Easy to knit and easy to wear, it can be dressed up or down; solid colour, different stripes, add an intarsia motif-- the options are endless and they all start with this pattern.
Suitable for the advanced beginner who is confident working in the round.
