Mary Pat McDonald
for My Favourite Things 2013
This oversize cabled moebius cowl (and its shoulderette version) was inspired by a Japanese souvenir – thus the name Nejiri, which means 'twist'. It is knitted flat as a rectangle, and the long edges are joined to form a tube. The tube is twisted once and seamed, producing a moebius strip. There is enough yarn left to knit a matching headband.
