9159 Cable Trim Jacket

We saw a pic of this design and asked for it over and over. Finally we had to get on a plane to Leeds, drive to Guiseley in West Yorkshire, and pick it up personally and hand-carry it back to Toronto. Yes, we love it that much. The back is the same as the fronts, in that the 'skirt' is st st and the back upper bodice is ribbed. The waist is shaped, of course, along with the shoulders and back neck. It's Celtic, but not; it's modern, but ancient; it's beautiful, but unfussy; it's casual, but utterly professional too. And quick to knit. And just flattering beyond belief.

A vest version of this design, and a marvellous matching neck warmer that would be great on guys too (!) is available here-- Wendy 5699.
