M5017 Blazer
WEB EXCLUSIVE

This is a gloriously simple but splendid blazer, made elegant with the use of double moss stitch as an overall fabric. The front bands are worked in a 2 x 2 rib of a piece with the fronts, so finishing is minimal: just sewing the piece together and working the collar. The pockets are patch, and therefore optional; omitting them would just give a longer, leaner look. Sleeves are well set-in to a nicely curved armhole. Hem and cuffs are just plain st st and left to roll naturally outward. If you can work the left front "to match right front omitting buttonholes, reversing shapings", then you can knit this with confidence.
