m5002 Puff Sleeve Pullover

Porter keeps this design as clean and pure and focused on one thing as possible: the slight gathering at the top of the sleeve caps. As we write in 2013, there are rounded sleeves and leg-of-mutton sleeves and puffed sleeves and sharp ones on the runways. It's an anything-goes era in sleevery, so why not just give yourself a little more fashion edge and femininity? The waist is shaped a little, and the hem and cuffs are turned up to the inside with a purl fold ridge. But most importantly, most of the sleeve gathering is done during the casting-off the the cap, so setting them in is much less troublesome. The glory of the gloss pima cotton yarn adds fabulous extra polish.
