7001 & 7002 Fluted Stripes Tunic and Chevron Skirt
Says Bryant of her tunic: "Sport and lace weight Euroflax Linen drape beautifully in a tunic bordered with a broken chevron. Wide stockinette stitch sections break the color in a syncopated rhythm, and the vertical lines causes a slight fluting. Tunic is worked circularly to the armholes and then broken for front and back shaping. Slight decreases are made in the body during the solid sections." And of the Chevron Skirt: "A traditional chevron gains added shading and depth from a series of Layers colors. Cool Bracken, Conifer and Aegean are popped with a stripe of hot Zinnia. Easy & quick to knit; even more fun to wear. Shown with our Cottage Country Tee (in the skirt detail photo)." When Bryant dyes the perennial favorite Euroflax Linen, magic happens. This ensemble is as dramatic as it is lightweight and easy to wear. Skirt is worked entirely in the round from the hem up. Aside from setting in the sleeves, there is only the most minimal sewing.
