Chain of Ribbons

"We all have friends affected by breast cancer," says Abel. "We all want to help. This is Chain of Ribbons: a scarf designed to raise breast cancer awareness. It is a fun and easy scarf that will draw some looks! Pink and white ribbons appear to be chained together. Pictured in Reynolds's Rapture, Berroco's Softy/Gedifra's Serano and Crystal Palace's Party ribbon, it can be made in any soft heavy worsted or bulky yarn. It is a 'quick knit' for a dear friend or to donate to your local breast centre. A BIG portion of the designer's proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research and support." (And does it not look exactly, perfectly, like a column of knit stitches? Gauge is over garter stitch. Easy and ingenious.-- Ed.)
