Oh Lovely Cowl

The ultra-soft yarn used for this cowl was perfect. It’s an alpaca/bamboo blend which makes it unbelievably soft and smooth. Since it’s a chainette yarn, it’s also airy and light. With just the right amount of drape, this cowl is really comfortable to wear.

The border cables are reversible, so if you catch a glimpse of the inside…it’s still attractive. In fact, the inside of the cowl is pretty cool as well. You could wear it with either of the sides showing.

This cowl is knit back and forth lengthwise and can be finished in one of two ways.

1.The bind-off edge can be seamed to the cast-on edge.

or

2.You can begin with a provisional cast-on and graft the ends together.

Instructions are provided for both.

The cable patterns are both written out and charted.
