2383 Girl's and Boy's Cardigans (ages 2 - 13)
Here's an Aran that's extremely attractive and also easier than most, since it becomes obvious pretty quickly which cables you're working on and how to do them without referring to the pattern. The back sports basically the same stitch arrangement as the front, with the two big cables separated by three of the little coin cables in the middle. The big cables are not mirrored, but you can of course do it yourself if such symmetry pleases you. Raglan decreases are worked one stitch in from the edge, so you've got a proper selvage stitch to seam with.
