2013-009 Travelling Stitch Pullover
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Bobbie Robbins, "With a distinctive bottom rib, picot neckline, and cable panels in front and back, this sweater is knit in the round using a Travelling Stitch(or Twisted Stitch) technique for the cable panels. The pullover is meant to be close fitting and a wool cotton blend yarn choice is comfortable against the skin. Pattern includes steeks for armholes and neckline that are carefully explained with clear pictures."

This is an excellent pattern to try steeks for the first time. Robbins explains the method thoroughly, illustrates it with photos, and there's no need to deal with multiple ends as you would with a fair isle design. You'll feel confidant enough to move on to one of those later.
