The Sylvia Dering Infinity Scarf and Gloves

The Sylvia Dering Scarf is created with a reversible knit and purl texture stitch. It is a beautiful blend of texture and colour, designed for hand dyed yarns. The scarf may be worn in a long loop. If you twist and double it at the neck, it can be worn as a tiered neck warmer. The gloves are knit mainly in stocking stitch and use the scarf texture stitch on the back of the hand only.
The name Sylvia Dering comes from Agatha Christie's novel "The Sittaford Mystery". During a séance, a spirit announces that someone has just been murdered. A friend rushes to the named victim and discovers the spirit was correct. As usual after a number of red herrings the truth of the murder is discovered.
