To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

3770 Strahlen Vest
WEB EXCLUSIVE

You gasp and think: "This is amazing. But there's no way it's 'easy'." However, it is. You're really looking at the whole thing. First you make a rectangle in the braid cable pattern for the back. Then you pick up along part of its sides and knit out smaller rectangles for the sides. Then you pick up all around the perimeter with a larger needle, casting on stitches to create an armhole area and hip cutout; join in the round, and finish the cobweb frill, and you're done. The result (which insists on being machine washed and dried, awwww) could be right off a runway, and couldn't be more fashion-forward. But it's wonderful, and you did it. See data page for gauge details.
