82303 Fairisle Pullover
This charming pullover, with all its little pointelle and eyelet and colour detailing, is not technically a 'fair isle', in that two colours per row are never used. No matter. The use of colour is exemplary-- pretty and interesting but soft-- and the lazy daisy embroidery afterwards (placed wherever you want it) adds whimsical embellishment. The armholes are very well cut in (after knitting the body in the round), as is the back neck, and the sleeve caps are high for superb tailoring. We love the variation in motif placement on the sleeves. From 2005.
