Entrelac (the woven-looking technique on the body of this sweater) is a terrific thing to know how to do. But many aspirants are put off because it seems fiddly. The solution? Do it on a Grand Scale, as here: all the picking-up is large and visible and quick. And Sirdar has kindly provided instructions for performing it in a very detailed way, separately for all three sizes, so (in effect) you have custom instruction. Back and front are alike except for front neck shaping. After making this, not only will you have a marvellous new comfy weekend sweater, but a solid technique understanding that you can use at any gauge thereafter.
