NHK11-3 Collared Bolero
Says Wilson: "The lower body is worked in one piece, increasing at each side for waist shaping. Then the work divides at armholes and Back and Fronts are worked separately." Which understates the chic (and sauciness) of this little piece far too much. It's beautifully carved, with perfectly tailored set-in sleeves and sloped shoulders that are shaped with wrapped short rows; the pert little collar is picked up and knit out without any further shaping. A garter eyelet embellishment is all that's needed to give a final touch to the look. This design is from Nashua Handknits Book 11, Holiday.
