To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Robin Melanson

for Louet North America   2012

In which Melanson presents a wondrously shaped cardigan, faintly Empire in line, with beautiful detailing throughout. Look at the photo of the cuff detailing: there's a whiff of the lace pattern just above the purl-bead rib. And look at the way the decreases are placed for the V-neck-- way off to the side, emerging organically from one of the lace leaf-lines. This is artistry. And it's done in the exceptional Gems superwash wool, with the twist that shows off stitch patterning so very well: a perfect, romantic marriage of design and materials.
