Twipple Tweed

Three tweedy yarns and an all-over tweed stitch pattern combine to create this casual-day topper. A knitted-on I-cord trim and rustic buttons complete the look.

(Worked in one piece, divided at the underarms. Shoulders are shaped with wrapped short rows and then cast off together, so there's no sewing! This vest works on men or women and is the sort of thing that shows off any yarn perfectly. So armed with it, you have permission to buy just about any precious yarn you please and make gorgeous garments for everyone you know. Two DK-weight yarns worked together should give you something very close to this gauge, so you could play that way too-- Ed.)
