To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Dale Design

for Dale Garn (formerly Dale of Norway)   2003

12514 Islender (ages 4 - 12)

Fans of traditional Faroe Islands motifs will go into happy orbit over this sweater, and with excellent reason. It is in every respect an exemplar of the genre. The fair isle patterning is extremely regular-- each round is 4 stitches of the main colour and 1 of the contrast colour, period. Worked in the round to the neck, then back and forth. Sleeves are worked in the round with a facing; armholes are cut into the body tube after machine stitching reinforcement. Ribbed crew neckline is doubled and sewn down to the inside. From Dale of Norway Book 125.
