Jo Sharp

1950's V-Neck Sweater

Absolutely the ultimate, definitive Sweater Girl sweater. Less demanding than a 4 ply weight, but more detailed and refined than a DK, this figure-hugging beauty has waist and shoulder shaping, fully fashioned armholes, and high sleeve caps. Recommended ease is minimal (2" or less) for maximum visual impact. Maximum textural impact is provided by the yarn; it rewards touch and glorifies the design's simplicity. This design originally appeared in Sharp's Knit, Issue 1-- now out of print. One line of errata is included as a separate page of the PDF.
