NHK8-2 Sunday Cardigan
Ah, Wilson. She always has a delicate touch, but never overdoes it. Here is a magnificently subtle cardi, endowed with every kind of shaping (back neck, shoulder, waist, set-in and belled sleeves). But she keeps the embellishment to a minimum, so as to quietly impress and not overwhelm. The result is quite breathtaking. You work the body as one piece to the armholes, then divide for fronts and back. Shoulders are shaped with wrapped short rows and cast off together. From Nashua Handknits Book 8, North American Designers 3.
