NHK8-1 Classic Cabled Pullover
Zimmerman shares her Mistress of Arans status with but a few other souls. Combining the ribbing and stitch patterning as she does here must have taken weeks of careful swatching, and it's all on splendid view. But she shapes the garment very carefully too; it's got a dipped back neck and sloped shoulders, waist shaping, and armholes indented once for a modified drop shoulder-- sleeve caps are flat. A cabled sweater of much distinction, far out of the common way. The yarn, once made by Nashua Handknits, is now available from Rowan. This design is from Nashua Handknits Book 8, North American Designers 3.
