James C. Brett
JB117 Sweater (age 12 up)
'Sweater' understates the case considerably. We would describe this as a kind of 'Urban Armour'-- superbly stylish, yet almost Arthurian in concept. The silhouette is straight-sided with very well-cut armholes and a good cap to the sleeves; the crew neck is simply wrought with a little st st roll after the 2 x 2 rib. You could, of course, just continue the rib up for a funnel, mock, or full turtleneck. The back is plain st st, to add more visual weight to the front. The cable panel is perfectly symmetrical, with the little two-stitch cables on either side of the OXO's mirrored. Very quick to make and a great textural jolt for your wardrobe.
