Dale Garn (formerly Dale of Norway)
Simply one of the most beautiful, figure-enhancing sweaters we have ever seen. Serene, confident, and untouchable by time. You begin the body and sleeves with hems, knitting in the round, working the cable patterning from a chart only on the front of the piece. At the armholes, you divide the body for front and back, and work flat on the sleeves to make a good high cap. Shoulders are shaped by wrapped short rows, then sewn together. This is a very easy sweater to wear, but it does not look casual-- it's rich and sophisticated in its simplicity. Please note that the cabling instructions are given in chart form, not written out. From Dale of Norway Book 116.
