To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

JB065 Cardigan

What we have here is a beautiful exercise in a waterfall cardigan. The front/neckline is particularly well-executed, with its gentle sloping; it almost gives the effect of a sweetheart shape. Together with the delicate loveliness of the cable patterning, it's effortlessly elegant. The straight-sided back and plain set-in sleeves are pure st st, so that's very fast and easy. The front bands are worked up from stitches on hold at the hem, then the neckband is worked all in one piece; this gives a variegate, if you use it, a lovely uniformity throughout the trim.
