To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

James C. Brett

2011

JB095 Sweater
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Once again James C. Brett puts the alluring in the Aran. In this very beautiful cardi, the sleeves are set in and the front neck almost dizzyingly dipped; back neck is straight. The sleeves and back of the piece are all in st st, so the interest is entirely on the front of the garment (no waist shaping, either). We're thrilled to report that the cable panel design is mirrored, to give a lovely symmetry that delights the eye. Wonderfully well-suited to a variegate, since the cabling is strong enough to 'read' through it, and of course the st st fields show off any style of yarn at all. No ease is recommended-- knit your bust size for maximum effect.
