JB022 Cardigan

This is a great-looking cardigan with a bit of a shaping secret. (No, the secret is not that the back is all st st, which it is.) If you look closely at the fronts, you'll see that the stitch grain-- direction-- is pretty much vertical to the viewer. Look, too, at the cable panels: they are built on a slant. Ergo, we have fronts that widen just inside the cable panel as you work up the front of the garment. This means that the open inverted 'V' at the bottom front is deliberate to the piece (and actually slimming). Sleeves are lightly set in.
