3400 Lady's Cross Over Sweater

This pattern is one of Wendy's all-time bestsellers, period. No mystery why. Look at both photos, with the two-colour and solid-colour approaches: they're both splendid, regal and completely timeless. The fronts have the lace panel knitted in (if you're using two colours, you'll have three balls of yarn to work from at the same time, as you do in intarsia); the back is plain st st. For the sleeves, you make the lace insertion first, then pick up along its edges and knit down for the cuff and up for the set-in sleeve cap. Front band/ties are knit separately and sewn on. Miami DK is gone, but the other modern Wendy yarns listed below are all exact stitch and row matches for it. That said, make sure you get gauge.
