NHK31-1 Zig Zag Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Ah, beauty. The back is plain st st after the same little eyelet treatment you see on the cuffs. The sides are straight. The sleeves are set in with a proud high cap. But the fronts, my doves... nothing but mirrored simple cables, barely framed with more eyelets, along the opening; the cable continues on up the sides of the V neck to the shoulder. The front and back neck edgings are just a couple of rows of crochet (which makes the button loops). The result is exquisite simplicity. Quiet glory. Perfection, even. From Nashua Handknits Book 31, North American Designers 6.
