82105 Swirl Pullover
WEB EXCLUSIVE

This pattern's presence is a special request from a customer in the Netherlands. It's stunning, and includes many of the elements that Gaughan developed further in her book Knitting Nature. This pattern is a celebration of ingenuity and ambition-- just as the people attracted to knitting it must also be ingenious and ambitious. You begin at the centre of the swirl, work out in the round, and then switch to flat knitting with a circular needle. Shoulders are a straight drop.

Warning: the type is QUITE small; get out your snazzy magnifying glasses.

UPDATE at 26 June 2013: We have enlarged the size of the type considerably and spread the pattern itself over three pages instead of one. The type is still not huge, but it's easier to read than it was. Let us know how it works for you in the comments below.
