NHK44-6 Raglan Jacket

A belled st st skirt and sleeves. Garter ridges. Seed stitch, which Designing Knitwear author Deborah Newton called her all-time favorite. Here Mills takes the simplest variations on knitting and purling and offers a miracle: an easy and very beautiful cardi that is completely fashion-proof. Note that "The lower body is worked in one piece, back and forth in rows, to the armholes, then divided for working the fronts and back separately." Even better: finishing is minimized.

From Nashua Handknits Book 44, Zinnia.
