048 Summer Comes Early to Downton

Swirly vines and tendrils curl around roses based on a motif from a 16th century Venetian fabric. Double-knit laceweight mohair-silk makes a romantic wrap that is both toasty warm and light as air, while wide lace at each end adds extra femininity. Work it in vivid colors for a dramatic accessory or choose pale pastels for a delicate look.

As shown, the shawl requires only two skeins (approx. 420 yd / 458 m) of each color.
