for Nashua Handknits
We are in awe of this piece. How can it be equal parts beauty, enticement, modesty, and skill? How could it fit so perfectly into just about any century and look so right in each of them? We love the integration of the eyelet rounds at hem and cuffs and neckline-- how they frame the overall patterning so perfectly. Back is the same as the front, with the centre lacy panel. Sleeves are set in, but have an abbreviated cap. Lemmers is an excellent designer, and this is one of her exemplary garments. From Nashua Style 1.
