Fig Leaf Potholder (Crochet)

Make this fig leaf potholder for tropical kitchens or just to remind you of the tropics in the middle of winter. It's made with bright green DMC Senso size 3 crochet cotton. Two fig leaves are made and then crocheted together to make the potholder thick enough to protect hands and surfaces. American crochet terminology.

(A joy in the kitchen-- use as a trivet, too. Could also come in handy if you have any large anatomically-correct statues hanging about-- Ed.)
