for Kriskrafter 2012
SS109 Sideways Slipper Boots w/ Options!
Do you have cold footsies? Me too; that is why I designed these super snuggy, cushy, huggy, warm slipper boots.
The tops of these boots are knit sideways with a unique heel shaping. You then choose to either knit, crochet or use pre-felted sweater soles.
The tops have a unique folding that makes for a nice warm cuff-- looks great too!
Knit flat, then stitched, these slippers are very very easy and very fast to make. If you are in a hurry for a quick gift for someone these are great for that. Popular item for selling at craft shows, fundraisers, farmers market, etc.
You will need approx. 135(150,175) yds for the slipper tops and 120(140,160) yds for the soles.
Gauge is 16 sts & 26 rows = 4" in garter st.
Sizes are: Wms S/M/L.
(Note that yarn is worked doubled throughout. Note also that templates are given for foot size; draw these a little bigger than they appear on the vertical axis, since our watermarking squishes the page a little-- Ed.)
*thanks to Ravelry members Thirteen & abreKnits for allowing me to use their project photos (Green pair & Pink pair). They did such a nice job!

Super cute, super easy. Just finished my second pair. If you're on the fence about this pattern, jump over on its side.
New reviews will be available soon.
