for Nashua Handknits

NM1-3 Maize (age 3 up)

Family sweaters don't get much more classic than this. You can imagine this design in an 80-year-old family photo; you can see it looking just as good 80 years from now. Front and back are rectangles with a dip for the front neck; sleeve tops are flat, for a true drop shoulder. We just love the wide rib and garter outline detailing at the hem, cuff, and neckline. These pieces manage to give the impression of a true gansey without all the demanding knit/purl patterning. So flattering and timeless as to make you look almost regal. From Nashua Magazine 1.
