Bar Code

Says Bylsma: "The beauty of random is revealed: a combination of random “bar code” ridges and randomly-combined variegated yarns create an elegant, classic v-neck. Lace weight and fingering weight yarns are held together throughout to create this pullover. Five somewhat related, but different, variegated colorways of the merino fingering were changed at random in this version. Simply cut the yarn every few rows or inches, tie an overhand knot (both ends go through the loop in the same direction) and continue. Don’t bother weaving in the ends, just leave the knots and tails on the inside where they want to be anyway. The same lace weight silk was used throughout to blend and smooth the color transitions." We have little to add, except that waist shaping is included; and that this is the perfect template through which to enjoy most every fine yarn you see for the rest of your life.
